Amazon India Online Shopp FreE

Amazon.com Inc’s India unit said it would hire 50,000 temporary workers to meet a surge in online shopping in the country, where customers have been stuck indoors for two months in lockdown to fight the coronavirus outbreak. E-commerce firms faced massive disruption in the initial days of the lockdown in India, but a slow easing of the stringent regulations has allowed them to resume large parts of their operations.

"We want to continue helping customers all over India get everything they need so they can continue to practice social distancing," Amazon senior executive Akhil Saxena said in a statement on the company's blog. “(The move) will also keep as many people as possible working during this pandemic while providing a safe work environment for them,” said Saxena, Amazon’s VP for customer fulfilment operations in APAC, MENA & Latam.

The temporary hires will work in Amazon’s fulfilment centers and as part of its delivery network, the company said, making the announcement at a time when various other companies in the country have been forced to cut jobs as they try to tide over the health crisis. Amazon itself has pushed its annual global Prime Day event, traditionally a summer affair, to September, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.

In India, where the Jeff Bezos-led company faces stiff competition from Walmart Inc’s Flipkart, Amazon earlier said it plans to create 1 million jobs by 2025. The company also said on Thursday it plans to enter the food delivery business in India, pitting itself against well-established startups such as Swiggy and Zomato.

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War full movie online

Since the title was announced for Justice League Dark: Apokalips War, the biggest question in some fans’ minds was “hang on, who now?” Justice League Dark, the team of magical heroes that includes Constantine, Zatanna, Swamp Thing and a rotating cast of lesser-known mystics, has always had a very specific lane and focus: the supernatural. Not typically included in that mystical lane are Darkseid, Desaad, Apokalips, or the rest of the Fourth World heroes or villains. But the new trailer for the upcoming DC Animated feature sheds some new light on that puzzling “why:” because they’re all that’s left.

From the looks of it, Apokalips War takes place some time after the post-credits scene in Reign of the Supermen. That movie revealed Cyborg Superman to be an Apokaliptian plant, working to destroy Earth on Darkseid’s behalf. In fact, an all-out invasion was only averted when Hank Henshaw’s ego overrode Darkseid’s programming, and he tried to take down Superman himself and closed the boom tube he had opened for Apokalips. In the post-credits scene, Luthor (voiced terrifically by Rainn Wilson) joined the League to take the fight to Apokalips. Here…yeah they’re all captured. Bad call.

So that leaves the rest of the world this shared continuity has built. As a reminder, that includes Damian’s Teen Titans (as seen in Justice League vs. Teen Titans and The Judas Contract); the Suicide Squad (from the terrific Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay); and the assorted Bat-friends like Batwoman (from Batman: Bad Blood) and Bat-foes like Lady Shiva (from Batman: Hush). And, of course, it includes the members of Justice League Dark.

Stars: Ana de la Reguera, Leven Rambin, Susie Abromeit

The fictional movie, based in the United States, is about a national holiday which sees all crimes, including murder, legalised for a 12-hour period.

Before this period, known as the “purge,” a government announcement is made on television before a siren signals its commencement.

More than 1000 people responded to a Facebook event which aimed to get New Zealanders playing the siren from their speakers as the country moved to Alert Level4 at 11.59 pm, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

A post on the event page read: “Please don't be offended by this, it’s only for a laugh since we will be in lockdown for a month maybe more. Stay home, stay safe we are in this together.”

Afterwards, videos were posted to Facebook by those participating and residents later said they heard the sirens in the Christchurch suburbs of Hoon Hay, St Albans and Riccarton, among others.

Police received no reports of the activity in Christchurch on Wednesday night.

Marvel's Black Widow Was Supposed to Hit Theaters Today

In another timeline not all that different from the one we are living in now, the internet is being set ablaze with Black Widow buzz. Instead, we still have months to wait for the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as the movie was delayed by six months due to the ongoing theater closure brought on by current events. But, had things panned out as planned, Scarlett Johannson's long-awaited and sorely deserved solo adventure as Natasha Romanoff would be in theaters right now.

Release date

November 6, 2020 (United States ) Country   United States

When Marvel Studios officially announced its Phase 4 slate, it was revealed that the Black Widow movie was finally happening. Not only that, but it was also going to be the movie to kick off the next phase of the MCU. The solo flick was set to arrive on May 1, just over a year after Avengers: Endgame obliterated the box office and closed the door on more than a decade of interconnected storytelling. It also effectively ended Natasha's journey, as she sacrificed herself to get the Soul Stone, which was needed to undo Thanos' deadly snap.

Unfortunately, with theaters shut down all around the world, Disney and Marvel Studios had to make a difficult choice. Black Widow was pushed back to November 6, which then had something of a domino effect. The entire MCU Phase 4 slate was pushed back as a result. But this is the situation the movie business finds itself in right now. Sure, a movie like Trolls World Tour can make enough money on streaming, but big blockbusters such as this still require box office dollars to make financial sense. Not only that, but many fans still want to see this on the big screen. That will still be possible, in due time.

Black Widow is directed by Cate Shortland, which marks the first time in MCU history that a woman has helmed a movie solo. Anna Boden previously co-directed Captain Marvel with Ryan Fleck. The cast also includes David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle and Rachel Weisz. As far as the villain goes, Taskmaster will be the villain in this one. Though, the identity of the person under the mask has remained mysterious, which is unique as it is pretty hard to keep the actor playing a big role like this under wraps. We might be in for something of a big surprise.

It's also important to note that this is a prequel, taking place after the events of Captain America: Civil War and before Infinity War. So it won't be undoing any of the narrative that has already been established. Black Widow will be followed by Eternals on February 12, 2021, with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings arriving on May 7, 2021, and Spider-Man 3 swinging in on November 5, 2021. The comes Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on March 25, 2022, and, rounding out Phase 4 for Marvel will be Thor: Love and Thunder on February 11, 2022.
